Chris Pine Wore Orange Pants in Public, And I Am Here for It.

July 23, 2018

Think of a time when you were out and about, and saw a man sporting orange pants. If you can't, you're not alone. Orange pants aren't generally a good look on anyone, but it takes an extra confident (or oblivious) man to pull off wearing orange pants as if it were another day at the office. Chris managed to do so very successfully at Comic-Con over the weekend.

Now please don't think that my well documented admiration of Chris Pine has influenced my judgement in any way, shape, or form. And while this is not the first time he's worn a daring pair of pants in public, rest assured I would be the first person to call him out for making a serious error in judgement.

That said, let's take a look at the outfit he wore over the weekend.

He's wearing those trousers like he's doing them a favor. It's summer which is probably why I don't even mind the color. The real fashion crime is his shirt. At first I thought it was a light reddish linen and I was digging the whole outfit. Then I realized it has these irregular orange streaks throughout. Ugh. Not okay. We do not match our shirt to our trousers. I'm also not loving his shoes, but I dislike all white shoes -- unless it's a sneaker and you're about to work out. And the shoes without socks look, which is everywhere right now and shouldn't be, is not sexy. It just looks like you forgot your socks. Because you're not at the beach and that's the only place where that is acceptable. can't
