Kind of weird that anyone would have to tell him this, right? I mean, George Clooney is almost 60 years old and has two children under the age of 2. You'd think his primary concern would be taking care of himself so he can be around to raise them.

Years ago one of my friends was going to tandem jump out of an airplane. On the day of the jump weather conditions were such that it had to be rescheduled, but before the new jump date his wife became pregnant so he cancelled it without hesitation. It was a risk he was no longer willing to take knowing that he was going to be a father.

George apparently did not have the same instincts. You probably recall that last summer that he hit a car while riding his motorcycle to a film set in Sardinia, Italy. Video of the crash looked bad. He was hospitalized and later released with no major injuries, but we could all see he was still having trouble walking weeks later. So now it seems his wife has talked some sense into him.

“I’m not allowed to ride motorcycles. I got into a really bad accident. I hit a guy at 70 miles an hour on my bike. Got launched. And so that’s, I’m off of bikes. Grant’s off. We screwed up and our wives were like, ‘You can never get on a bike again.’ “ - People Magazine

The mini-series he was filming in Italy at the time of his accident is called Catch-22 and it premieres on Hulu on May 17th.
