Jon Bon Jovi serving free meals to government workers who aren't getting paid

January 22, 2019

Jon and his wife Dorothea have a restaurant in New Jersey called JBJ Soul Kitchen and it's not like any other restaurant you've ever visited.

This one lets you pay whatever you can for your meal or, if you prefer, you can volunteer for your food. It's a concept they've embraced since 2011 and now they invited all those Americans who are furloughed government employees to come and eat for free.

I know it's not like you needed another reason to love him but here it is anyway. Chef Jose Andreas has been something similar with his World Central Kitchen and with all the sad news in the world it's pretty great to see people coming together to help those in financial crisis.
