If you've never heard of Jonathan Gold, you must watch City of Gold. You must. I would do it this weekend if I were you because it will enrich your life and inspire feelings of hope and well being. And when was the last time that happened.

Jonathan was born in LA and spent his life discovering and writing about food in the City of the Angels. He didn't focus on the fanciest and most expensive restaurants, but on the most delicious. The ones no one had ever heard of. And this changed people's lives forever. He was a pioneer and incredible storyteller. Jonathan Gold died of pancreatic cancer last week and tomorrow would have been his 58th birthday.

My favorite kinds of movies are the ones that inspire, lift up and convince the viewer that anything is possible if you're willing to reach for it. City of Gold is that kind of film. Watch it and by the end I bet you'll see the possibilities in you own life open up.
