If you're a mom, P!nk's conversation with Reese will be the best thing you hear today.

Do you sometimes want to take everything P!nk says and needlepoint it on a pillow? I do. She has a way of putting things that are deeply profound in the simplest terms, which belies how complex what she's talking about really is but strikes at the core of women everywhere.

She was on Reese Witherspoon's new series called Shine On with Reese. It's kind of a cross between a docu-series, talk show and a podcast. This one is filled with pearls of wisdom and I think if you're a mom you will especially relate.

P!nk talks about how tricky it is to raise children and how much being a parent has changed every fiber of her being. She said, "That's the hardest thing about being a mom, you have no idea if any of the stuff you're doing is landing." Pretty sure my mom felt the same way which must be why she repeated herself thousands of times. But it worked.

I enjoy Reese as an actress but she's not my fave in this setting. I don't feel like she's really showing us her authentic self and since P!nk is nothing but authentic, it really highlights the difference. But still, it's interesting to get a behind-the-scenes look at how some really successful women have gotten it done and you might really like Reese in this format.

I love the very beginning where we get to see P!nk interact with her mom and baby son -- all three generations together.
