Never heard of a Turkish Get-Up? It's the exercise you should do & here's how

No equipment at all, or puppy, is needed for this one and according to an expert with the American Council on Exercise it's one of the three most effective exercises you can do that require no equipment at all:

  • Burpees
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Turkish get-ups

Burpees and mountain climbers are everywhere these days, but if you've never heard of a Turkish Get-Up you're not alone. It's rather difficult to explain so watch one in action below:

When you get good, you can do it with a weight in one hand but you don't need one as a beginner.  It's a good workout for your shoulders and core, and for stabilizing muscles in your back and hips.
