We've all been spending more time in our homes, and noticing things that need to be replaced or fixed. If it can't be fixed, rather than tossing it, reuse or repurpose it.  Turning it into an item that creates more function in your living space. Avoiding a landfill, and making your home easier to live in and enjoy. Being green while saving green is a big #1Thing Win!

Here are some 7 things to reuse and / or repurpose at home:

  1. Wooden Pallets
Turn them into decorative pieces in the garden. Use them as storage cases. Turn them into a coffee table / furniture.
  2. Broken Picture Frame
Create an organizer. Turn it into a piece to hang jewelry / earrings on.
  3. Old Baskets
Clean and mend them. Use them as recycling bins. Storage for blankets / odd items that lay around in a room.
  4. Broken Crayons and Empty Jars
Create colorful candles when melting the crayons in the jars (glass) with a wick in the middle.
  5. Damaged or Old Desks
Turn it into a nightstand. Use the parts of the desk to create something wonderful for the room.
  6. Plastic Bottles
Turn them into vases, watering cans for the plants and buckets for the beach to build sand castles.
  7. Toilet Paper Rolls
