If the college admissions scandal was a high stakes version of Deal or No Deal, we now have Lori Loughlin's answer.  No deal.

Both she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, entered not guilty pleas and waived their right to appear in court for an arraignment.  Clearly they think that they can beat the charges and what appears to be a substantial amount of evidence against them.  Even a plea agreement could've ended with substantial penalties.  A guilty verdict could be much worse.  While almost everyone else involved in the scandal is taking a plea deal and the easier way out, Lori Loughlin and Mossimo are preparing for a fight.
